Community Foundation of Morgan County, Inc. Scholarship Program
For High School Senior Morgan County Residents and for Non-Traditional/Post High School Morgan County Residents
The Community Foundation of Morgan County, Inc. offers Morgan County residents the opportunity to be awarded scholarships based on selection criteria requested by the donor of each scholarship fund.
There are two categories in the CFMC Scholarship Program, one for high school senior Morgan County residents and one for non-traditional/post high school Morgan County residents.
The Kendrick Foundation, Inc. Scholarships
The Kendrick Foundation, Inc. Scholarships will provide support for Morgan County residents who are pursuing a career in the health care field. The scholarships are for tuition only, up to a maximum of $15,000 per person per year after deducting other financial aid which also pays tuition. The program is open to all Morgan County, Indiana residents:
The scholarship recipients are completely free to choose which educational institution they would like to attend, with preference being given to candidates who will attend Indiana schools.

Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program
The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program offers two full-tuition scholarships for Morgan County residents who will have graduated by the end of June, 2012 with a diploma from a regionally accredited Indiana high school and who will be first time college students.
Since the Lilly Endowment Scholarship Program was first offered in 1998, Lilly remains steadfast in its belief that education at all levels is indispensable to the personal, civic, and economic well being of our community. These scholarships must be used to pursue baccalaureate degrees at any accredited public or private Indiana college or university beginning in the fall of 2012. The Endowment hopes that this program will encourage many of Indiana’s most talented students to attend one of Indiana’s fine higher education institutions and after graduation, consider pursuing occupations in Indiana.
Morgan County Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship weighted selection criteria is as follows: academic performance, 30%; financial need, 20%; school/community activities and/or work experience, 20%; essay, 15%; interview, 10%; personal characteristics, 5%.
