The Kendrick Foundation, Inc. Scholarships will provide support for Morgan County residents who are pursuing a career in the health care field. The scholarships are for tuition only, up to a maximum of $15,000 per person per year after deducting other financial aid which also pays tuition. The program is open to all Morgan County, Indiana residents:

• Who have graduated by the end of June, 2009, with a diploma from an Indiana high school or an equivalent education
  
• Who have been accepted into a program at an accredited college, university, or other educational institution to complete a course of study in a health care field (including medicine, dentistry, allied health, and nursing) beginning in the fall of 2009
  
  Note: Acceptance into a pre-program such as pre-med or pre-pharmacy
  does not qualify for this scholarship program.

   The scholarship recipients are completely free to choose which educational institution they would like to attend, with preference being given to candidates who will attend Indiana schools.
